Question: What should I do to prepare my home to be listed and shown?
Answer: If you have your property listed for sale you should first have your home practically “staged” meaning you got rid of any clutter. It should look clean, neat and crisp. Almost like a model home. If you need to touch up paint or clean out the garage or get rid of some of the furnishings to make the space look bigger, we recommend you do so. Let’s talk about Myrtle Beach Real Estate today. We have seen an increase in homes sales and things are really moving here at the beach. We have seen prices stabilizing and we are seeing multiple offers on properties again. This is a great thing. My Northern clients are sick and tired of the cold weather and hard winters they have been having and they are jumping to buy their retirement homes now while interest rates are still low. They are not permanently moving but are going ahead and securing themselves here. We had two little ice storms here, which as a native I can say we have never really had. I can honestly say I don’t know how anyone deals with snow and ice on a daily basis. We are spoiled here in Myrtle Beach. I remember many Christmases that I was in flip flops. Now the term ice storm in Myrtle Beach is NOTHING compared to up north. We shut schools down and stay off the roads but enjoying playing in the inch that we may get here. That being said I think we will see a surge of properties sales in the next few months.
