Answer: Absolutely not , buyers like to be able to move about the home and speak freely . They want to tell their agent what they like and DO NOT like . Having a seller present makes it awkward and can keep them from being able to be open and honest with their opinions and makes them not want to stay in the home as long as they would like.
They are looking to make this home their own so they don’t want to feel like they can’t inspect it the way they want. So please don’t be present for showings on your home. Also, when sellers start talking to buyers it distracts them and keeps them from focusing on the home and the features the agent is trying to show them.
