Myrtle Beach has a fun new hot spot for great food. Fire and Smoke Gastropub is located at 411 79th Ave N Myrtle Beach, SC. This place has been getting rave reviews. It is like a tapas bar. It has a great bar in the back of the restaurant. The ambiance is great and the food and service even better. Come order some of their amazing food combinations such as shrimp and grits, duck confit  nachos, wood grilled Caesar salad and so much more . There are also larger portions available. What a great way to start the night or pop in for lunch order a bunch of small plates and unwind with a bottle of wine. This is a place you must try. The locals are flocking here ! Easter weekend is like our kickoff to the season. The beach is packed, the flowers are in bloom and everything is green and beautiful! We look forward to the beginning of all the tourists that come to the beach for their annual vacations.   If you are visiting during Easter weekend and are looking for a church to visit on Sunday we have a variety to choose from. First Presbyterian Church , Christ United Methodist and Ocean View Baptist  are a few of my favorites. First Presbyterian and Ocean View Baptist are more traditional services and attire. Christ United Methodist is a casual atmosphere with a contemporary service. There are also a few Sunrise services in Myrtle Beach and Murrells Inlet.  All are great and would love to have you visit. A tradition in my family has always been church then a big lunch. If cooking is not on your list of things you want to do on vacation don’t worry we have lots of places to choose from. Easter fills up fast so I recommend making reservations somewhere in advance. A few of my favorites are The Sea Captains House, Carolina Roadhouse, Croissants, Magnolias and Chestnut Hill. I have a good deal of clients calling about looking for a property here at the beach that they can rent out and then eventually move down here to live in. A local favorite for food and fun will be re-opened March 29th. If you have not visited this little gem then you are missing out. The Anchor is located in the Grande Dunes Neighborhood near the Marina Inn. Locals love to pop in for some lunch and drinks while watching the boats go by on the Intracoastal Waterway. It’s all open air and the staff and atmosphere are wonderful. The locals hate when the Anchor closes for the season but love when they re-open! This means Summer is coming fast ! Residents of the Grande Dunes, Plantation Point, The Forest and other neighborhoods can jump on their boats and ride up to the Anchor for some food and fun in the sun. The Anchor is one of the few places that you can literally sit in the water and watch the boats go by. Stop by the Anchor and check it out for yourself .
