Caroline Dargan is a fourth generation native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She has personally experienced growing up at the beach and watching the community grow around her. Her family Construction business, Dargan Construction Company, is responsible for the majority of the high rises along the Grand Strand. Her grandfather Archie S. Dargan had a love for Myrtle Beach, and his incredible reputation for integrity and excellence in all that he did has definitely been passed down to Caroline. Caroline has a love and knowledge for Myrtle Beach that only a true native can possess. She has attended all the local schools including Coastal Carolina University and has grown up with the town.
She has seen tremendous growth since she was a little girl. She always enjoyed listening to the old stories of small town Myrtle Beach by her parents and grandparents. She witnessed the biggest Myrtle Beach real estate boom of all time. The Myrtle Beach real estate market has changed in the past few years. However, the current Myrtle Beach real estate market is by far one of the best times to buy that Caroline has ever seen. Caroline is stunned by the amazing deals that the beach has to offer right now. Her mother’s father Joseph B. Chestnut also had a love for real estate and has bought, sold and leased a great deal of it. He started what is now known as Restaurant Row / Chestnut Hill by buying land and leasing it to local restaurants. He would tell Caroline as a small child, “land is the only thing that lasts.”
She, herself is very invested in Myrtle Beach real estate and looks at the market through both a buyer and a seller’s perspective. She was taught to always” put yourself in someone else’s shoes”, and “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” As a Realtor, Caroline empathizes with her clients in all aspects. She handles a transaction the way she would want someone to handle hers….with care. She has a love for people and wants to help everyone with their transition to the beach, so that they may love it and all it has to offer as much as she does.
Caroline enjoys meeting new people and establishing solid relationships. She wants to be someone that her clients call on long after their business transaction has been completed. With her background in Psychology and Interior Decorating she is able to help her sellers get their home “designed to sell.” She knows how to maximize the “Wow factor” of a home on any budget. Her decorating tips are also useful to buyers who are looking at a property, but cannot envision the transformation she could accomplish with it.
