Live Music in Myrtle Beach

April 16, 2018 by Dargan Real Estate

Nothing goes together with sunshine better than live music! While we’re known for our beaches and seemingly never ending summers, Myrtle Beach is filled with amazing local talent. If you haven’t heard any of the local acts yet, you’re just not going to the right places. Liven up your weekend plans and stop by one of the following locations to enjoy great live music!

Combine your love of tacos, margaritas, and music at the North Myrtle Beach location of Nacho Hippo. You can rock out on the weekends there with performers such as Cornbread, Matt Doda, and Bullfrog. Sit back, sip on your margarita, and enjoy the music from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays during April. With outdoor seating, Nacho Hippo is the perfect location to kick back and relax while enjoying the music. With plenty of tasty menu items, you can ditch your boring dinner plans and stop by for dinner and a show.

Sea Captain’s House is keeping more than just their dishes fresh. Stop by for tasty seafood dishes and stay for the local entertainment. Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during April, you can enjoy live music between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Popular local artists such as BJ Craven and Josh McCaa frequently perform at Sea Captain’s House. You can wrap up your happy hour with a refreshing drink on the outdoor patio while you jam out. On top of tasty drinks and great entertainment, you can enjoy stunning views of the ocean while you sit back and unwind to the musical stylings of the night’s performer.

In this Prohibition-style restaurant, Strong Waters Bar has more to offer than just a fully stocked bar. Strong Water’s is dedicated to providing you with a menu made from local ingredients. Much like their menu, the musical talent is also local. On Friday’s and Saturday’s during April, you can kick back with a Honeysuckle Mule and enjoy the musical stylings of artists such as Billy King and Jonathan Roberts from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

You can load up on juicy burgers, beer, and live music at the Boathouse! Located right along the waterway, you can jam out with your friends while enjoying a stunning view. Every Sunday afternoon, the Boathouse hosts national and regional touring bands as a part of their Sunday Concert Series. Each show starts at 5 p.m. and entry is free for all ages until 8 p.m. After 8 p.m, you must be 21+ to enter. The main event takes place on their famous waterway stage. After the main event wraps up, you can relocate indoors to enjoy some of the area’s hottest local bands!

You can satisfy any craving you have for food and music in Myrtle Beach. Live entertainment is easy to find and it’s even easier to work it into your lunch or dinner plans. If you’re looking for weekend plans or just trying to switch things up, spend a night out on the town and rock out with your friends or family!
