As the weather begins to cool and the crowds fade, there are plenty of fun festivals happening during the fall in Myrtle Beach! Gather the family and be sure to check out all these events filled with food, live entertainment, culture and more!
Myrtle Beach Wine Fest
Date: September 16, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Valor Park at The Market Commons
Cost: $5 for sampling glass, $1 each for ticket
More than 50 wine varieties from across the globe and 20-plus specialty vendors will be available at the Wine Fest. There will be plenty of food samples as well as live music to enhance your wine tasting experience.
St. John’s Greek Festival
Date: September 28 – October 1; Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday noon to 7 p.m.
Location: 3301 33rd Ave. N., Myrtle Beach. St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church of Myrtle Beach.
Cost: $1 for adults, 10 and under are free
This four-day event will be held outdoors on the church grounds celebrating Greek heritage. The festival will include kids activities, vendors and Greek music, as well as traditional Greek food such as gyros, roasted lamb, and so much more!
Irish Italian Festival
Date: September 30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Main Street, North Myrtle Beach
Cost: Free
The City of North Myrtle Beach celebrates European culture in this day long festival. There will be local vendors selling food and crafts, live entertainment, a kid’s area with balloon animals and face painting and even a spaghetti eating competition!
Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival
Date: October 6-7, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
Cost: Free
Get a taste of the sea at the 2nd Annual Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival! Area restaurants will be serving up dishes while you enjoy live entertainment, a beer and wine garden, and a corn hole tournament. There will be kids activities too so bring the whole family.
Oktoberfest at The Market Common
Date: October 14, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Valor Park at The Market Common
Cost: Free
This weekend long event highlights German culture, including authentic music, German wines and beers, and German cuisine. There will also be inflatables, face painting and even a pumpkin patch for the kids!
Little River ShrimpFest
Date: October 14-15, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Little River Waterfront
Cost: Free
Over 150 vendors will be on the historic waterfront in Little River for this annual festival, selling everything from fresh local seafood to arts and crafts. There will be live music, entertainment, and a children’s area with stilt walker, balloon art, and face painting!
Taste of the Town
Date: October 17, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2101 N. Oak Street
Cost: Admission is $5 in advance or $6 at the door, food and drink tickets are $1 each
Get a taste of over 50 of the Grand Strand’s best eateries at the annual Taste of the Town. Not only will there be plenty of delicious food to sample, there will be a beer garden and plenty of live entertainment all evening long!
Endless Summer Festival
Date: October 28, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: The Horseshoe, at the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and Main Street in North Myrtle Beach
Cost: Free
During this event, there will be various local vendors with specialty crafts, food, a classic car show, a children’s area and a community stage with singers and dancers. There’s even a free concert, so make sure to bring a beach chair so you can sit back and enjoy the music as you celebrate the end of summer!
Halloween Bash on the Avenue
Date: October 27, 7:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Where: The Avenue, Broadway at the Beach
Cost: Free
Dress up and head over to Broadway at the Beach for a night of ghoulish fun, dancing, a live DJ and a huge costume contest!
